UConn Abrahamic Programs Initiative
UConn Abrahamic Programs serves as an academic umbrella that fosters cross-border research collaboration, intercultural communication, and community engagement to explore emerging trends and issues of critical importance in the Middle East and North Africa. It builds on the intellectual foundations of Abrahamic thought and its three monotheistic faiths—which emphasize the value of acquiring knowledge, using reason, and acting with wisdom—complemented by the long-standing Connecticut tradition of innovative thinking and scientific discovery. Abrahamic Programs support peaceful co-existence and regional academic integration in the MENA region and provide an alternative framework for productive on-campus programming and dialogue at the University of Connecticut.

ABOUT THE CHALLENGE
Propose a system to monitor and analyze real-time household water consumption, offering practical solutions for water saving.

Water is the most valuable resource in the world, and it is a limited resource that we are all guilty of taking for granted. With the increasing global population and the ongoing impact of climate change on rainfall patterns, water scarcity has become an escalating global concern.
In response to this challenge, there is a need to manage all the competing demands on water resources so that all of us have enough water for our daily life.
